Galway Taxis was founded in 1986 by a group of 16 taxi drivers, striving to provide the people of and visitors to Galway with a reliable, fast efficient taxi service. On day 1, 31st January 1986, no fewer than 47 customers were counted using the public offices on Mainguard Street.
Since then, the company has gone from strength to strength, building on a superb reputation as Galway's premier taxi company.
